The landline telephone we all use in our homes and our offices are, well, very old in origin. With the invention of the Internet, a cheaper way to make our calls, both local or international, is VoIP or Voice Over the Internet Protocol.
VoIP uses the Internet as a medium to send a voice data in packets using IP (Internet Protocol) rather than the traditional phone lines.
