Please give us a short summary of your website?
A site that offers brand new cellphones without the activation, so there are no contracts. Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile, Edge, Dobson and unlocked phones.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
There were no websites that programmed cellphones to specific carriers like Cingular. So people who bought unlocked phones were missing out on certain features like Multimedia Messaging Service and the WAP Browser.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In May 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We got the idea of Pixy, because cellphone screens are measured in pixels.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We can program our phones to your specific carrier like Cingular or T-Mobile.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Our spending is still more than profits.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I like it the way it is :)

Yes, we have the resources availible for a much larger demand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Sometimes our merchant account can't process transactions because of the customer's cookies/cache settings.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting our name out.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Pay per click.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It costs more to advertise than we thought.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Since May and we tend to keep it for a long time/
