 Not surprisingly, the telecommunications industry in the nation of Cuba is somewhat being left behind, as it is largely controlled by the government. With the exception of Haiti, Cuba has the worst communication infrastructure in the whole Caribbean.Recent developments marginally allowing foreign private entities to enter the telecommunications industry is strained by the fact that it is still largely monitored by the national government.
